economics,,,

Buku pertama yang saya baca adalah Built To Last, karya Jerry I Porras & Jim Collins, kira-kira pas saya kuliah tingkat II.
Sekarang sedang menyelesaikan baca buku The End of Poverty.

Tampak menarik banget. Hmmm.
Ini resumenya:

In contemporary society, many of the most vexing issues we face cannot be solved by technology alone. Engineering excellence must be coupled with insight into societal needs and the mastery of project and process management tools.

At the intersection of technology and public policy
TU Delft's MSc Programme in Engineering and Policy Analysis (EPA) is an international interdisciplinary programme, designed to provide its graduates with a unique combination of technical, analytical and management skills. Equipped with these skills, graduates can play leading roles at all levels of society, solving complex problems that arise when the interests of public and private parties conflict. Crossing the boundaries of technical and non-technical disciplines, the programme can be said to be situated at the intersection of technology and public policy.

More than technical skills
The purpose of the EPA Programme is to provide students not only with the technical skills that you would expect to acquire in a standard engineering curriculum, but also with analytical, modelling, and problem solving skills. The core of the programme consists of policy analysis, systems modelling, economics and management courses. With a strong international orientation, EPA places particular emphasis on comparative analysis, as well as intercultural cooperation and project management.

Programme structure
The four main themes in Engineering and Policy Analysis are

  • Policy Analysis
  • Economics
  • Systems Modelling
  • Management

-------Menarik kan??? ;p
*starting day dreaming*
